Are the 'Special One's' books such as 'Special Leadership' and 'Anatomy of a Winner' destined for the bargain buckets in book stores?
It's difficult to see where Jose Mourinho can go from here. The team - of which he is an intrinsic part - has clearly broken down. The leader cannot openly and publicly criticise his people for the result. Leadership is all about the assumption of responsibility. Sadly for Chelsea fans, Jose is starting to look less special, and more like a one-trick pony.
"One of my best qualities is to read the game for my players and I feel like my work was betrayed," said Mourinho. "One possibility is that I did an amazing job last season and brought the players to a level that is not their level and now they can't maintain it."
