I recently asked my youngest niece what she would like for Christmas.  After a brief pause she insisted that only a unicorn would do.  Fortunately this is the soft, cuddly variety, but it got me thinking: as we enter what will doubtless be a turbulent year, are the unicorns all their are cracked up to be?.... Possibly not.
