Whilst fully cognisant there are many more important issues in the world right now... 

It seems a while since Apple were held to the same old high levels of scrutiny, in terms of the quality of their products/services.

'Back in the day' it was a huge deal if Apple 'dropped the ball' with a new release... remember Maps in 2012?... listed by Forbes as the 'biggest tech disaster of the year', it signalled the end for several of their senior exec's.

My iPhone now bumps me off the internet arbitrarily and serves me spurious reminders I am 'unable to accept a meeting'... of which I have no idea of... I didn't get this with my previous eight-or-so iPhones.

Having searched online, there is no quick fix other than a 'hard reset'... which would be a huge pain in the...

Many of my younger colleagues - who long since fled Apple's ecosystem - will be reading this and thinking 'told you so'... and not for the first time ;-)

As someone who typically leaves the house needing to charge numerous Apple devices (phone, watch, ear pods, pencil, tablet, Mac etc.) I am hoping that 'normal service' will be resumed.

I'm not ready to leave you, Apple - I never fancied Android - can we try and work things out?...
